What was happening on the ground in Kazakhstan in 2020?

On Monday March 16 2020, the President of Kazakhstan announced the emergency state which means closing all tourist and heritage sites in the Republic of Kazakhstan (as well as schools, creches, colleges and universities) until April 15th.

During the state of emergency, a restriction was introduced on entry and exit through the state border for the citizens of Kazakhstan and foreign states.

As for the date of 18th of July 2020, the situation unfortunately became even more complicated compared to the spring 2020: number of infected people was growing, and we didn’t see any improvements. Our country was going through tough times, we were back into second quarantine. We were advising to postpone trips to Kazakhstan untill the situation would get better.
